Free Wheelchair Mission Provides Mobility for All

Being wheelchair bound has got to be one of the greatest challenges a person can face in their lifetime, but lacking the money to buy a wheelchair shouldn't be a part of the equation.

Since 2001, Free Wheelchair Mission's (FWM) goal has been to transform lives through the gift of mobility to the physically disabled poor in developing countries. Their vision is set at 20 million wheelchairs and we think with their undying spirit, they can make it happen.

Check out the Journey of a Wheelchair, an inspiring map outlining how FWM gets the wheelchairs to their recipients; from planning in the US to production in China, to distribution ceremonies all over the world, FWM is changing lives every day.

Savvy Way to Support the Cause: The cost of each wheelchair is just $59, but if you don't have the cash, FWM is a participant in eBay Giving Works program. The next time you shop eBay, hit this link or sell here.  Just designate a percentage of your final sale price, which will get turned over to FWM.
