I disagree with the cast iron tip. I have pans older than I am. I wash mine in soap and water, then dry immediately. I can't imagine the bacteria that would be in one washing it with sea salt. Not to mention the fact that salt corrodes metal.
I don't even use soap on my teflon pans. Boil water, wash out and place back on hot stove to dry and sterilize. Last FOR-EVVVV-EER!
Until the kids get to them and put them in the dishwasher! LOL!
