Super Bowl Crock Pot Recipes

We're PSYCHED for the Super Bowl because our team (not saying which one, natch) is in it!  To win it!  (At least we hope they are.)  If you'll be hosting a little fete this Sunday, you might as well make it a tasty fete.  And if you're going to make it a tasty fete, do yourself a favor, go easy and throw something in the crock pot that's simple, tasty and sure to please.  Here are seven of our favorite, tried-and-true, knock it out of the park (ahem, field?) crowd pleasers.

  1. Pulled Pork & Coleslaw Sandwiches, thepioneerwoman.com.  Throw this tangy shredded pork and slaw on slider buns and you'll score a foodie touchdown.
  2. Matthew Morrison's Cream Cheese Chili Dip, popwatch.ew.com.  The Glee star shared his easy, (no-longer-a-secret) TWO-ingredient recipe with us.  Who could resist?
  3. Spinach Artichoke Dip, food.com.  Might as well give a vegetarian nod to our fave sport with this cheesy, comfort-foody goodness.
  4. Bordertown Beef and Bean Torta, delish.com.  Guests will cry 'Ole!' after every play with this tasty upgrade from a simple 7-layer bean dip.
  5. Bavarian Style Meatballs, allrecipes.com.  It only takes 5 minutes to throw the ingredients together for these unusual, tasty, and tangy ball-shaped tapas.
  6. Easy Slow Cooker French Dip, allrecipes.com.  Budget-friendly, beer-soaked beef makes this a guest and host favorite.
  7. Chipped Ham Barbeque Sandwiches, food.com.  How could we forget Mr. Savvy's hometown with this classic, surprisingly tasty 4-ingredient specialty?
