It's true we've featured a couple of tasty treats this week that would send our LeBootCamp coach's left eyebrow northward, but there's something about this elongated winter that has us craving some serious comfort food. Plus, we're pretty sure Madame LeBootCamp wouldn't object to the occasional treat to keep things in balance. And since Psychology Today is suddenly standing behind a morning caffeine and sugar boost to promote brain activity, we view donuts as a practical medical necessity! (In moderation, bien sûr). Finally, bathing suit season is an easy 5-6 months away, so here we go.

Savvy Scoop: SeriousEats whipped up some tasty glazes, but if you're short on time and want to make this a truly quickie treat, these donuts are equally satisfying with a sprinkling of powdered sugar or a quick bath in a cinnamon/sugar blend.
