- Walk, Bike or Drive to take in whatever fall foliage is left and work off your holiday belly.
- Movie Marathon! There are some pretty saucy pics being released this time of year in anticipation of meeting the Academy Awards deadline (Happy Feet II, anyone?) Take in a matinee or load up on DVDs and have an at-home movie marathon.
- Christmas Tree Shopping. Well-watered, fresh trees last at least a month, so why not fill your home with piney-scented goodness? You can also opt for a smaller, potted tree that can be replanted.
- Ice Skating. There's nothing like feeling the wind whip across your face as you glide across an icy surface, but if you don't feel like risking your life on a millimeter-wide blade, it's still fun to sip cocoa and watch others in your local outdoor skating rink.
- Holiday Crafts/Decorating/Gifts. This weekend is the perfect time to whip up some egg nog, homemade hot-cocoa or hot cider and dive into decorating and making those homemade gifts.
- Parades, Christmas Markets, Pumpkin Patches and Fairs. Who knows what fun is in store in your neck of the woods this weekend? City's Best does!! Check out your local guide for unique ideas.
