Three Savvy Ways to String Them Up
1) Christmas Card Wreath. We're generally not in favor of crafts that require a lot of supplies, but this uber cute and easy wreath from Martha Stewart is made from an uber-economical embroidery hoop.
2) Christmas Card Curtain. All you need for this sweet idea is sturdy, wide ribbon, mini clothespins and an available curtain rod or cheap tension rod. If you've got wee savvies at home, you can even enlist them to help paint the clothespins. If you're really crafty, weight the top of the ribbon with a stone, heavy-duty nut, or magnet and hang over a door.
3) Christmas Card Garland. This is also as simple as pie, you just need a piece of sturdy string or ribbon, clothespins and a surface to hang them. We're draping ours across bookshelves, weighted down by classic tomes.
Savvy Tip: When the holidays are over, save the decorative half of your cards and turn them into next year's holiday postcards, table runners, or give them an encore as a window or wall treatment.
