Life Changing Podcasts for Your Morning Commute
Podcasts - for some people it is part of their daily commute, they love and swear swear by them, and others are just not feeling it. Well, I am one who falls into the former category, and am here to convert you. Whether you are looking to learn about history, need insight for finances, or are looking to be inspired, there is a podcast for you. Below is a short list of my faves that are on a constant rotation during the course of my week.
- Girlboss Radio. Need I say more? Sofia Amoruso is the founder of Nasty Gal, and author of #GIRLBOSS and the newly released Nasty Galaxy. Her weekly podcast features interviews of successful women, and their stories of how they got there. If you are ever feeling down about where you are in life and don't feel like you can ever achieve your goals, this is the perfect podcast from you, as most of these women where right where you are now.
- Listen Money Matters. With their goal to be the ultimate personal finance resource, this is not your average financial podcast. The dynamic duo Andrew Fiebert and Thomas Frank host some of the smartest minds in personal finance, and provide a 'no holds barred' approach to everything money-related. Super smart, and just as engaging.
- HardCore History. Ever wanted a deeper understanding of certain historical events, but unwilling to slog through those thick texts? Dan Carlin's podcast has got you covered. I have only started going through his series on WW1, but it is somehow thorough and entirely engaging all at once.
- Radiolab. This is one of my faves, as they discuss a different topic every episode. I haven't heard one that I don't like, and they are often about subjects that I would never think to look into otherwise. Did you know that trees communicate with each other? Check out this episode to hear more.
