According to an Australian study drinking passionfruit tea one hour before turning in helps bringing on a sound sleep. Researchers attribute it to the Harman alkaloids. These chemicals, found in high levels in the flower soothe your nervous system and make you tired.
Not a tea person? Try a warm glass of milk. While there is no concrete medical evidence that it helps you sleep, the psychological benefits associated with it (who doesn't have memories of being given a warm glass of milk growing up?) may just do the trick.
