A Natural Solution for Your Pearly Whites
I am a big fan of all things natural, and lately I've been thinking about my toothpaste. I've never had sensitive teeth, and after the eons of braces, retainers, and root canals, my mouth looks pretty good. But lately my teeth have become more sensitive, and I have become curious about that gooey paste I dutifully apply to my pearly whites a few times a day.
After trying to navigate the ingredients list on the back of the tube (it might as well be written in Martian!), I have decided to start researching other, more natural forms of maintaining dental hygiene. There are a number of organic toothpastes out there, but the latest craze that has been gong on in the past few years has been charcoal toothpaste. In addition to removing plaque and protect against tartar, the activated carbon in it is great for fighting tooth discolouration. I have some friends who have been converted and now swear by it, but I have yet to take the leap.
What is your experience with charcoal toothpaste? Have you ever used this traditional bbq ingredient to enhance your smile?
