Brands That Are Making a Difference

Brands That Are Making a Difference

We as individuals can do as much as possible to fight the battle against climate change. Any little bit helps in the long run. But it is equally as important for corporations and companies to take it upon themselves to lessen their impact on the environment as well. A recent report discovered that 100 of the top companies in the world produced 71% of all industrial emissions since human-driven climate change was officially recognized.

With climate change becoming more apparent and stronger with every year, what companies are taking a stand and doing all they can to combat it? Here are our favorite brands that are doing all they can to make a difference for our planet:

Nomadix is a company that makes travel gear that is lightweight, long-lasting and sustainable. They create all their products using post-consumer recycled materials. This means they turn recycled plastics into durable and versatile fibers for each of their products and avoid using harmful chemicals that pollute our water.

They offer towels, blankets, and ponchos made with some of the softest and best quality materials. It’s incredible that all their products are made with more than 90% recycled materials and even their packaging is compostable!

Klean Kanteen offers a wide variety of sustainable products from BPA free plastic water bottles to reusable straws. The steel used in their products are 90% recycled which reduces greenhouse gas emissions from stainless steel by about 50%!

Klean Kanteen's primary objective is to minimize any impact on the environment which affects almost all their business decisions and product offerings. They have developed into a responsible and aware business that genuinely cares about our planet.

After years of researching and tinkering, Allbirds created an entirely new category of shoes inspired by natural materials. Fashion is polluting the planet, and Allbirds has put reducing their environmental impact at the top of their priority list. Each shoe product is made with renewable materials and responsibly sourced energy.

The company’s goal is to reduce their carbon footprint in half by 2025 and then to near zero by 2030. They hold themselves accountable every step of the way as they continue to make important decisions that will help them achieve their climate goals.

Grove Collaborative allows you to choose from a huge array of carefully selected eco-friendly products that you can order once or opt for a subscription of that product. All packaging is 100% carbon neutral and they offer a VIP membership program so you get the most out of every sustainable order.

With the philosophy that sustainable products should be attainable to everyone, many prices on their products are lower than those you’d find in the store. If you find a better price anywhere else, they’ll match it!

For Ethical Bean, ethics and business go together like coffee and cream. They believe in doing good for the world without sacrificing quality. Not only are their products created with practices that produce ecological balance, biodiversity, and the use of on-farm resources, but they also donate a portion of their profits to Guatemala based non-profits.

Ethical Bean offers a variety of coffee roasts from medium to dark. All their beans are hand-selected by a Director of Coffee that are roasted into their amazing products.
